Job summary

Leica Microsystems, a Danaher operating company, invites you to join the Assembly Integration team in Singapore as an Assembly Technician. You will perform hands-on production, assemble, test and troubleshoot instruments to meet quality and cycle-time standards.

You will work on-site, document production activities, and contribute to continuous improvement while collaborating with engineers and production staff on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic) or equivalent years of working experience.
• Multiple years of relevant experience in assembly, production, or manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to perform instrument-level troubleshooting and basic problem-solving in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot instruments by following defined methods, sequences of operation, and standard cycle times.
• Work independently on routine production and technical issues, analysing problems and escalating more complex topics to engineers when required.
• Maintain accurate production documentation, support good workmanship standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of assembly and production processes.

TheAssembly Technicianis responsible for performing hands‑on production and assembly activities to deliver high‑quality instruments in line with defined standards, cycle times, and safety requirements. This role contributes directly to daily production output and product quality within the manufacturing operation.

This position reports to the Medical Assembly Lead and is part ofthe Assembly Integration team located in Singaporeand willbe an on‑site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• NITEC or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic or related discipline), or equivalent years of working experience.

• Proven ability to perform instrument‑level troubleshooting and basic problem‑solving in a production setting.
