Job summary

Gsicorp in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia is seeking an experienced Excavator Breaker Operator to perform excavations efficiently. The role requires at least 2 years of experience in the nickel mining industry and proficiency in operating excavators safely.

Requirement

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Senior High School/Vocational High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Excavator Breaker Operator, preferably in the nickel mining industry.
• Able to operate an excavator equipped with a Hydraulic Breaker attachment safely and efficiently.
• Proficient in breaking hard materials such as boulders, large rocks, and concrete.
• Capable of performing Daily Inspection and Maintenance (P2H) on the excavator and hydraulic breaker, and reporting any equipment defects or damage.
• Understands the safe replacement procedure for hydraulic breaker chisels in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for heavy equipment operation in mining areas.
• Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practices, especially when working in environments with high levels of vibration and dust.
• Disciplined, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to work in shifts.
