Job summary

DECA Group in Medan seeks an Area Sales Supervisor to lead Field Sales for General Trade channels in Medan & Palembang. You will oversee Area Coordinators, drive sales execution, and ensure distributor alignment and outlet coverage.

You will manage AR, SI, SO, and stock levels while coaching a high-performing team. Willingness to travel regionally is required and experience in cosmetics/ skincare is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in sales operations or Area Sales Supervisor role in GT channels.
• Experience managing regional sales areas, especially Medan & Palembang.
• Knowledge of distributor management, coverage, and outlet execution.

Job description

• Monitor and manage the performance of Area Coordinators (Korwil) within the assigned territory to ensure optimal execution of sales strategies.
• Achieve assigned sales targets by driving effective sales execution, territory coverage, and team productivity.
• Control and monitor Accounts Receivable (AR), Sales In (SI), Sales Out (SO), stock levels, and distribution effectiveness across the assigned area.
• Ensure product availability and proper distribution flow in line with company standards and sales objectives.
• Recruit, train, and continuously motivate the sales team under direct supervision to improve capability, discipline, and performance.
• Conduct regular field visits, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to strengthen team execution and market presence.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, preferably as an Area Sales Supervisor or similar role handling General Trade (GT) channels.
• Proven experience managing regional sales areas, preferably within the Medan & Palembang region.
• Strong understanding of GT distribution systems, including distributor management, sales coverage, and outlet execution.
• Hands‑on experience in controlling Accounts Receivable (AR), Sales In (SI), Sales Out (SO), stock management, and area distribution flow.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate sales teams, including Area Coordinators or field sales teams.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor sales performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective action plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with distributors and internal teams.
• High level of discipline, integrity, and accountability in achieving sales targets.
• Willing to travel frequently within the assigned area.
• Experience in FMCG, skincare, or cosmetics industry is a strong advantage.
