Aman Indonesia is seeking an experienced Area Hygiene and Sanitation Manager to oversee hygiene operations across its five Indonesian resorts. You will report to the Area Director of HR and lead programmes to ensure top-tier food safety and sanitation across guest rooms, kitchens, and public areas.

Responsibilities include implementing policies, training staff, coordinating with external agencies, and maintaining thorough documentation to support compliance with local and international

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in food safety management in a hotel or similar operation.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma equivalent in business or marketing in related field is preferred.
• Minimum of Food Safety Level 3 certified.
• Exceptional communicator with clear, concise, and logical communication.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm to help others who ask for support or need assistance.
• Consistently produces excellent work and on time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• Train and educate colleagues in proper hygiene practices and sanitation procedures.

• Manage procurement and use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate with external agencies and suppliers for quality control and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain records and documentation related to hygiene activities.
• Prepare detailed reports on hygiene practices for management review.
• Drive FSMS team meetings and Food Safety Committees across hotels.

Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Area Hygiene and Sanitation Manager, to join Aman Indonesia in Indonesia! Reporting to the Area Director of HR – Japan, Korea & Indonesia you will be responsible for the operations within Aman Indonesia Resort.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive hygiene and sanitation policies, procedures, and protocols, based on Aman FSMS standards. Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with hygiene standards. Train and educate colleagues in proper hygiene practices and sanitation procedures. Oversee the cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and other facilities including villas. Manage the procurement and effective use of cleaning supplies and equipment. Manage sampling collection process and periodic lab tests for food and water samples of all five resorts. Coordinate with external agencies and suppliers to ensure quality control and compliance with regulations. Ensure adherence to Indonesian local health regulations and international hygiene standards. Investigate and resolve hygiene or sanitation-related issues or complaints promptly. Identify potential hygiene risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. Maintain thorough records and documentation related to hygiene and sanitation activities. Prepare detailed reports on hygiene practices and compliance for management review. Work with other departments to ensure cleanliness and safety throughout all resorts. Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in hygiene and sanitation. Perform all responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to established company policies. Keep the GM/RM/Director of F&B/Executive Chef and Regional Corporate Directors promptly informed of any significant issues or unusual matters, ensuring that corrective action can be taken as needed. Spearhead each hotel’s Food Safety Committee and organize regular FSMS team meetings.

Requirements

Minimum of Food Safety Level 3 certified. Exceptional communicator internally and externally in a clear, concise, logical manner.
