Job summary

DKSH in Jakarta is seeking a sales support specialist to assist with pre- and post-sales activities for Laboratory Instruments, Equipment & Consumables (neogen) used in food & beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

You will help with applications, demonstrations, and technical presentations, and collaborate with the sales team to tailor solutions for customers. Training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure successful implementations.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre- and post-sales support for laboratory instruments is preferred.
• Technical knowledge of instrument capabilities and limitations.
• Strong customer communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations within budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Design or improve equipment and systems to meet customer needs.
• Research customer requirements and suggest product feature enhancements.
• Assist sales in configuring solutions for customers.
• Study new products to recommend enhancements for existing lines.
• Support demonstrations and technical presentations to promote products.
• Provide pre-sales technical support through customer visits and presentations.
• Run sample tests on instruments at in-house or customer sites as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing users.
• Provide post-sales training and method development for customers.
