CADFEM Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Jakarta is seeking an EBU Engineer to deliver electronics simulation projects, provide technical consulting, and assist in pre-sales activities.
You will work on EM, SI/PI, PCB and high-frequency simulations, develop models with ANSYS tools, support customers, prepare reports, train clients, and help ensure timely, quality project delivery.
We are seeking a technically strong and customer-focused EBU Engineer to join our Jakarta team. The role involves delivering simulation projects in the electronics domain, providing technical consulting support, and assisting in pre-sales activities related to electronic and electromagnetic applications.
Key responsibilities
Perform simulation and analysis in Electromagnetic (EM) simulations, Signal Integrity (SI) / Power Integrity (PI), PCB and high-frequency simulations, and electronics thermal management
Develop and validate simulation models using ANSYS Electronics tools
Support customers in product development through simulation-driven design optimization
Provide technical troubleshooting and solution recommendations
Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to clients
Assist sales team in pre-sales discussions, solution demonstrations, and technical proposals
Conduct customer training sessions and technical workshops
Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards
About you
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or related Engineering discipline
Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics simulation
Strong knowledge of electromagnetics, high-frequency design, PCB design fundamentals, and thermal management in electronics
Hands-on experience with ANSYS HFSS / SIwave / Maxwell / Icepak (preferred)
Experience with other EM tools (CST, ADS, etc.) – added advantage
Experiences in ANSYS MotorCAD
Understanding of EMI/EMC compliance, power electronics simulation, and RF design fundamentals
Ability to troubleshoot convergence and modelling challenges
Experience in consulting, R&D, or engineering services preferred
Exposure to industries such as electronics manufacturing, automotive electronics, telecommunications, or semiconductor is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, good communication and presentation skills, ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly, customer-oriented mindset, fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
