Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support management in controlling day-to-day operating expenditures against budgets.
• Design and develop new equipment or redesign existing equipment to meet customer needs.
• Research and analyze customer needs and suggest product features based on capabilities.
• Assist sales team in configuring solutions for customers.
• Study new products/technologies and recommend enhancements or modifications.
• Assist sales team with product demonstrations and technical presentations at customers or conferences.
• Provide pre-sales technical support through presentations and customer visits.
• Run sample tests on instruments at in-house or customer sites.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing users and provide post-sale training.

About The Role

Provide pre- and post-sales support to customers and prospects, including applications, demonstrations and sales visits related to Laboratory Instruments, Equipment & Consumables products (neogen specifically) for food & beverage or pharmaceutical manufacture

What You Will Deliver

• Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources


• Design and develop new equipment and systems or redesign of existing equipment to fulfill the needs of customers


• Research and analyze customer needs and suggest product features based on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations


• Assist sales team in configuring the correct solutions for the customers


• Study new products/technologies aligned with existing product lines to recommend enhancements or modifications


• Assist sales team on product demonstrations/technical presentations to customers or at conferences to promote products and services


• Provide pre-sales technical support through presentations and customer visits


• Run sample tests on instruments as and when needed (in-house or at customer sites)


• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing users


• Provide training to customers in post-sales and method development
