Job summary

PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk seeks a senior leader to drive API design, microservices, and event-driven architectures. This role blends hands-on coding with technical leadership, coordinating with architects, DevOps, security, and product teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions in a large enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software development, 2+ years in leadership, and strong expertise in distributed systems and modern patterns like Saga, CQRS, and Event

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development with at least 2 years in leadership roles.
• Strong hands-on experience in API design, Microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and asynchronous communication.
• Experience in high-volume, highly available, distributed systems.
• Experience with Saga/CQRS/Event Sourcing/Outbox patterns.
• Experience with Kubernetes Service Mesh and cloud-native architecture.
• Certifications: CKA, AWS/Azure/GCP Solutions Architect, API Management, or Event Streaming.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and delivery of API, microservices, and EDA solutions.
• Collaborate with Application Architects, Solution Architects, DevOps/SRE, Security, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders.

The role combines hands-on technical expertise with technical leadership, working closely with Application Architects, Solution Architects, DevOps/SRE, Security, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-efficient technology solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior Developer, Technical Lead, or similar leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience in API design, Microservices Architecture, and distributed systems.
• Proven experience with Event-Driven Architecture and asynchronous communication

Requirements

• Experience in high-volume, highly available, and distributed systems.
• Experience implementing Saga, CQRS, Event Sourcing, Outbox Pattern, or similar distributed-system patterns.
• Experience with Kubernetes Service Mesh and cloud-native architecture.
• CKA, AWS/Azure/GCP Solutions Architect, API Management, or Event Streaming certification.
• Experience in enterprise-scale API and integration platforms is an advantage.
