Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies seeks a Regional Strategy, Planning and Optimization Leader for APAC. The role focuses on leading SPO initiatives across the APAC region, coordinating with regional and global teams, and driving growth in strategic advisory services for power, energy, and water sectors.

The position emphasizes leadership in complex engagements, client relations, and cross-country collaboration, with travel up to 100% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required; postgraduate qualification in Business Management is highly desirable.
• 15–20 years of overall professional experience, with at least 3 years leading strategic advisory projects as Project Director or equivalent.
• Minimum 70% of total experience in the power, energy, and water sectors; demonstrated leadership in complex advisory engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead targets and business for SPO in the APAC region.
• Collaborate with regional and global leadership to expand SPO offerings in the region.
• Plan and execute go-to-market strategies including roadshows for SPO offerings.
• Act as Project Director for infrastructure advisory mandates and guide project managers.
• Oversee scoping, effort estimation, pricing, and proposals during sales and pre-sales.
