Job summary

Paystone is seeking an Analytics Engineer to build and own DataCandy’s data foundation. You will centralise product, client, and lifecycle data in Databricks, define metrics, and surface insights through Salesforce to support Customer Success and Account Management teams.

You will develop reliable data pipelines, create a governed Client 360 view, and implement renewal risk triggers to drive client growth and retention.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in analytics or data engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and Python abilities.
• Hands-on PySpark and Databricks experience (Delta, Jobs, Workflows).
• Cloud experience (GCP preferred).
• Version control, code reviews, CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with AI coding assistants and agentic workflows.
• Strong Excel for ad hoc analysis and reporting.
• Excellent written English and ability to document technical work.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines and models across Salesforce, transactions, product and renewal data.
• Create a governed 360 view of clients linking accounts, locations, products and revenue.
• Define trusted metrics for GRR, NRR, churn, client health, time-to-value and renewal risk.
• Develop automated client health scoring and renewal-risk triggers.
• Surface actionable insights in Salesforce to CS and AM teams.
• Prepare high-quality datasets to support AI and agentic workflows.
