The Siloam Hospitals Group is seeking a dedicated Emergency Transport Assistant to support ambulance readiness and patient transfer. You will maintain vehicles, check equipment, and document daily activities to ensure rapid, safe responses.
You will collaborate with clinical staff to move patients, perform routine maintenance, and participate in safety training to meet hospital-wide indicators.
Support the implementation of emergency services in terms of transportation of emergency services, including maintaining the equipment and readiness of ambulances, to ensure that ambulance services are ready and suitable for use when needed
Check the condition and equipment of the ambulance (fuel, tires, lights, siren) according to the schedule and procedures that have been determined and take further action if there is damage to the vehicle/equipment to ensure that the equipment and ambulance are always ready to use.
Carry out checking and cleaning activities for ambulances along with existing equipment/equipment in accordance with predetermined schedules and procedures to ensure that ambulance cars and equipment are always in a condition suitable for use.
Ensure that the car always receives routine maintenance (routine service) according to the time limit or schedule that has been determined to ensure that the ambulance receives good and appropriate maintenance
Carry out daily checks on the inventory of medical equipment and medical equipment in the ambulance using the equipment check list to create daily reports as an inventory monitoring tool
Maintaining the availability of ambulance drivers by ensuring that personal communication equipment can always be contacted by the Hospital at any time if there is a task for emergency needs of the Hospital
Assist in moving patients from the treatment room to the ambulance and vice versa
Clean and prepare the ambulance after each patient use
Collect required data and/or make reports related to operational activities as accountability to superiors
Implement procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, to support the achievement of hospital wide indicators and related department/unit targets
Minimum Highschool Graduate/ vocational High School Graduate from any related major

Basic understanding of medical procedures and patient care to assist with patient needs during transport.
Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with patients, medical staff, and emergency personnel.
Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and effectively during emergency responses.
Attention to detail in completing documentation and ensuring vehicle and equipment readiness.
Minimum Bachelor Degree from any related major
Basic understanding of medical procedures and patient care to assist with patient needs during transport.
