Job summary

Adecco Indonesia, part of The Adecco Group, is recruiting for an experienced Responsible AI Engineer to join Accenture Indonesia's AI & Data team in South Jakarta on a 6-month renewable contract.

You will assess AI systems against responsible AI standards, design mitigation strategies for bias and privacy, and collaborate with data scientists and security specialists to ensure responsible AI across telecom projects.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years in Responsible AI Engineering or a closely related technical role.
• Experience assessing AI systems against defined standards, evaluation criteria, thresholds, or benchmarks.
• Experience identifying AI-related risks and implementing technical mitigation strategies.
• Understanding of responsible AI principles, including fairness, transparency, accountability, reliability, and privacy.
• Ability to translate responsible AI requirements into technical assessment procedures, controls, testing approaches, or mitigation measures.
• Experience documenting technical findings, assessment results, and recommendations.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience working with AI/ML systems in enterprise environments is relevant.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred.

OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Responsible AI Engineer to join Accenture Indonesia's AI & Data team, supporting a client in the telecommunications industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating AI systems against predefined benchmarks, thresholds, and standards related to responsible, ethical, and sustainable AI practices. You will also design and implement technical mitigation strategies to address identified risks and help ensure that AI systems operate in accordance with established responsible AI principles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible AI Assessment: Assess AI systems, models, and related applications against predefined thresholds, benchmarks, and responsible AI standards to evaluate their compliance with ethical and operational requirements.
• AI Risk Identification: Identify potential risks associated with AI systems, including possible bias, unfair outcomes, unreliable predictions, privacy concerns, lack of transparency, and other risks relevant to the system being assessed.
• AI Testing and Evaluation: Design and conduct appropriate evaluations to measure AI system performance against established criteria. Document findings, identify gaps, and support recommendations for improvement.
• Technical Mitigation Strategies: Design and implement technical safeguards to address identified AI risks and help ensure that systems meet defined responsible AI requirements.
• Fairness and Bias Mitigation: Evaluate potential bias in AI outputs and support the implementation of measures to reduce unfair or discriminatory outcomes, where relevant to the use case.
• Transparency and Explainability: Support the assessment and implementation of methods that improve the interpretability, traceability, and explainability of AI system outputs.
• Privacy and Data Protection: Consider data privacy and protection requirements during AI assessment and implementation, including appropriate controls for sensitive data where applicable.
• AI Reliability and Robustness: Evaluate whether AI systems behave consistently and reliably under defined testing conditions, and support mitigation measures for identified weaknesses.
• Responsible AI Standards and Governance: Help translate responsible AI policies, assessment criteria, and governance requirements into practical technical controls and measurable evaluation processes.
• Documentation and Reporting: Document assessment methodologies, test results, identified risks, mitigation measures, and recommendations to support review, traceability, and stakeholder decision-making.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with data scientists, AI engineers, data governance teams, security specialists, and business stakeholders to integrate responsible AI considerations into the AI development and deployment lifecycle.
• Continuous Monitoring and Improvement: Support ongoing evaluation of AI systems against established thresholds and benchmarks, helping identify emerging risks and opportunities to improve responsible AI practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 7–9 years of experience in Responsible AI Engineering or a closely related technical role.
