Job summary

PT Mitra Distribusi Utama is seeking an AI Agent Developer / AI Automation Engineer to build AI agents and automated workflows across customer service, transaction checks, vendor monitoring, and reporting.

You will use LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini), design robust prompts and guardrails, and integrate tools like n8n, Make, Zapier, and Google Apps Script with REST APIs and databases.

Qualifications

• . Proven experience building AI agents, AI workflows, copilots, chatbots, or automation systems.
• Experience using LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or similar models.
• Strong prompt engineering skills, especially for structured output, classification, extraction, summarization, and tool-calling workflows.
• Strong experience with automation tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate, UiPath, or Google Apps Script.
• Strong understanding of REST API, webhooks, JSON, authentication, rate limits, callback URLs, and error handling.
• Experience working with databases, Google Sheets automation, CSV/Excel processing, and transaction data.
• Knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, LlamaIndex, LangChain, LangGraph, Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate, or Supabase Vector is preferred.
• Good understanding of security practices including API key protection, environment variables, data masking, access control, and audit logs.
• Strong technical documentation and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI agents and AI-powered workflows for customer service, transaction checking, vendor monitoring, sales support, finance support, and scheduled reporting.
• Build LLM-based applications using APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or other AI model providers.
• Create reliable prompt systems, system instructions, structured outputs, JSON formats, validation logic, and AI guardrails.
• Build automation workflows using n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate, Google Apps Script, or similar tools.
• Integrate AI workflows with third-party applications using REST API, webhooks, JSON, OAuth, API keys, and HTTP requests.
• Work with databases and structured data such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Supabase, Google Sheets, CSV, Excel, or transaction logs.
• Create scheduled reports, alerts, monitoring workflows, and automated notifications through email, WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, or dashboard tools.
• Build RAG / knowledge base AI systems using embeddings, vector databases, document retrieval, and SOP-based answering.
• Test, debug, monitor, and improve AI workflows, including error handling, retry logic, cost optimization, and accuracy evaluation.
• Maintain clear technical documentation for workflows, prompts, APIs, database structures, deployment steps, and testing results.
