Job summary

Koalisi Ekonomi Membumi (KEM) seeks a Project Assistant – Advocacy to coordinate and implement advocacy activities. You will provide administrative, coordination, research, communication, and project support to the Advocacy Working Group, helping ensure effective engagement with government, partners, coalition members, and other stakeholders.

The role contributes to advocacy outputs, trackers, and knowledge products while supporting collaborative policy dialogues and events across Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Development Studies, Environmental Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or program management in a multi-stakeholder setting.
• Strong research, organizational, and time-management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Advocacy coordination: schedule meetings, prepare agendas/minutes, track actions.
• Policy & advocacy support: research policies, prepare briefs, track developments.
• Stakeholder engagement: maintain stakeholder database, coordinate communications.
• Project & programme support: manage timelines, workplans, and donor updates.
• Knowledge management: maintain repository of policy documents and advocacy materials.
