Job summary

PT. ADIDAS INDONESIA is seeking an Assistant Manager, Accounting (Accounts Payables) in Jakarta to lead the end-to-end AP function and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. You will manage the accounting team and drive the month-end close, while ensuring timely financial reporting to management.

The role requires strong technical skills in GL, AP, tax rules including GST/VAT, and experience with ERP systems in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience across accounting, audit, taxation, or finance.
• Experience supervising an accounting team in a multinational or structured organization.
• Strong knowledge of full-set accounting: GL, AP, AR, inventory, fixed assets, month-end.
• Good understanding of local and IFRS and tax regulations.
• Experience with financial systems/ERP and internal controls is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the AP team to process payments accurately within deadlines.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and implement controls for efficiency and compliance.
• Execute month-end and year-end closing, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Review subsidiary ledgers and ensure accuracy against General Ledger.
• Provide analysis of variances and insights to management.
• Coordinate GST/VAT filings and statutory/business reporting.
• Support internal and external audits with schedules and documentation.
• Ensure correct posting to brands, divisions and cost centers.
