Job summary

PT Mersifarma TM is seeking a Cost Accountant to monitor and verify production cost transactions and calculate COGS for OBM products based on actual and theoretical data. You will coordinate with production units on outstanding WIP and conduct stock opnames in warehouses and labs.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, strong Excel skills, and English proficiency (passive). SAP/ERP experience is a plus for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Basic understanding of cost accounting and inventory management (COGS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• English proficiency at least passive (able to read and understand documents).
• Experience using SAP/ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and verify production cost transactions based on daily labour feedback
• Verify unplanned issues, unplanned receipts, and cross-department transactions
• Calculate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for OBM products based on actual and theoretical data
• Follow up and coordinate with production units regarding outstanding Work in Process (WIP)
• Conduct periodic partial/random stock opname for inventory in warehouses and laboratory centers
• Perform physical verification of goods for disposal due to expiration, returns, or recalls
• Maintain and update inventory and non-inventory master data, including item cost updates
• Update production costs periodically and conduct annual stock opname for all inventory
