Job summary

Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk in Jakarta is seeking an enthusiastic, entry-level Accountant Intern to support daily accounting tasks and learn the end-to-end close process.

You will assist with data entry, reports, and tax prep while collaborating with multiple departments. Fresh graduates are welcome, and strong Excel skills help you succeed in a fast-paced mining company environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Fresh Graduates are Welcome.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Prior internship or work experience in accounting or experience in public accountant office is a plus.

• Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks such as data entry, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support the preparation of tax returns and other financial filings.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.
