Job summary

PT. HONOR INDONESIA METAL in Jakarta is seeking an experienced accounting professional fluent in Mandarin and English to manage export-import accounting processes.

You will prepare invoices, reconcile documents, and ensure tax compliance for cross-border transactions, coordinating with multiple departments to maintain accurate financial records. The role requires strong bookkeeping skills, familiarity with export/import documents, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience in accounting, preferably related to export and import activities.
• Understanding of export/import documents (PIB, PEB, invoices, packing lists, B/L, and customs docs).
• Solid bookkeeping and financial transaction recording for export/import activities.
• Knowledge of VAT and import-related taxes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and process invoices related to export and import transactions.
• Assist in facilitating Mandarin communication among employees and related departments.
• Check the completeness and accuracy of export-import documents and ensure they match the relevant financial transactions.
• Record and maintain accounting entries and bookkeeping for export-import activities.
• Prepare financial data and supporting documents for tax reporting.
• Handle tax administration related to export-import transactions.

Has a good understanding of bookkeeping and financial transaction recording related to export and import activities.

Understands tax administration and tax reporting, including VAT (PPN) and import-related taxes.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software.

Detail-oriented, responsible, honest, and well-organized.

Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with other departments.
