Formación

• Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum Development, or related field is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a school leadership or academic management position.
• Proven experience in an international school environment.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teaching teams, improve academic performance, and drive educational excellence.
• Excellent written and spoken English; native speaker preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Curriculum Development & Implementation

• Lead the development, review, and continuous improvement of the school's curriculum.
• Ensure curriculum alignment with international educational standards and the school's academic vision.
• Support the integration of local and international curriculum frameworks.
• Develop curriculum maps, scope and sequences, and academic planning documents.
• Monitor curriculum implementation across all grade levels and subject areas.

2. Academic Excellence & Quality Assurance

• Establish and monitor academic standards to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
• Develop strategies to improve student achievement and learning outcomes.
• Monitor student progress through assessment data, academic reports, and performance reviews.
• Lead academic evaluation and continuous school improvement initiatives.
• Ensure consistency in teaching, assessment, and reporting practices.

3. Teaching & Learning Leadership

• Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and professional support to teachers.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
• Promote effective, student-centered, and inquiry-based teaching practices.
• Identify professional development needs and coordinate teacher training.
• Encourage collaboration and the sharing of best practices among teaching teams.

4. Academic Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate academic calendars, curriculum planning, and assessment schedules.
• Work closely with school leadership and teachers to ensure effective academic operations.
• Support the development and implementation of academic policies and procedures.
• Contribute to school accreditation, academic documentation, and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Master's degree (S2) in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum Development, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a school leadership or academic management position.
• International School Experience: Proven experience working in an international school environment.
• Curriculum Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Academic Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teaching teams, improve academic performance, and drive educational excellence.
• English Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English. Native English speaker is preferred.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
