Job summary

EdgeConneX is seeking a Facility Engineer based in Cikarang to maintain technical installations and infrastructure across our data centers. You will work with the Facility Manager to ensure safe, reliable operations and timely response to alarms and emergencies.

You will partner with operations to plan preventive maintenance, prepare procedures, and monitor contractor activities while seeking cost savings and energy efficiency without compromising uptime.

Qualifications

• 4-year technical education with certificates.
• Relevant M&E training.
• Safety for Operational Supervisors.
• Experience in a data center or critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, effective delivery of planned maintenance to EdgeConneX standards.
• Inform management about planned and corrective work.
• Plan and implement customer-requested work and inform stakeholders.
• Plan work on 1-line equipment per PM schedule.
• Prepare Method of Procedure for approval.
• Organize testing of mission critical equipment on site.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies during shift.
• Maintain safety standards and seek cost savings without sacrificing quality.
• Look for energy efficiency opportunities to improve uptime.
• Work 24/7 on-call and escort vendors as requested.
