Job description

The Treasury Specialist is responsible for managing daily fund settlement and operations, including local and cross-border fund transfers, foreign exchange settlement, and account balance monitoring. The role ensures accurate and efficient fund allocation while safeguarding company cash flow. The position involves assisting with monthly and quarterly budget forecasting, monitoring fund execution, analysing variances, and recommending optimisations. The Treasury Specialist maintains relationships with Hong Kong banks, supports credit applications and financing documentation, and ensures all operations comply with Hong Kong financial regulations and internal company policies. The role also includes preparing daily, monthly, and other management reports to support management decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily fund receipts and payments, foreign exchange settlement, and account balance monitoring for Hong Kong local and cross-border operations
• Ensure accurate and efficient fund allocation and safeguard company cash flow
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly fund budgets and rolling forecasts
• Monitor fund execution and analyse variances to recommend optimisation suggestions
• Maintain daily liaison and basic maintenance of banking relationships in Hong Kong
• Support credit applications, financing documentation preparation, and related account management
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong financial regulations and internal company financial systems
• Identify process pain points and propose optimisation solutions to improve internal controls
• Prepare timely and accurate daily reports, monthly reports, and other management reports

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines
• 2 years or more of experience in treasury, cashier, or finance-related roles
• Familiarity with Hong Kong local banking processes and common foreign exchange policies
• Proficiency in Office software
• Good English reading and writing ability
• Meticulous and rigorous work approach with strong sense of responsibility
• Strong ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Good communication and coordination skills and team collaboration spirit
• Cross-border fund management experience is preferred
• Hong Kong Permanent Resident Identity Card or dependent visa status is preferred
