Job summary

Hong Kong Benyi E-commerce Limited is seeking an experienced project manager to lead end-to-end charging station projects in Hong Kong. The role involves coordinating with government departments, driving approvals, and overseeing feasibility studies, design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance services.

You will prepare tender documents, manage project budgets, and lead cross-disciplinary teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience in charging station or electrical engineering project management.
• Experience with government engineering tendering processes in Hong Kong.
• Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of charging station projects.
• Liaise with Lands Department and EMSD to advance approvals and compliance.
• Lead feasibility studies, scheme design, installation, commissioning and maintenance.
• Prepare tender documents and collaborate with procurement for tendering.
• Prepare budgets, control costs and manage schedules for on-time delivery.
• Coordinate contractors and multi-disciplinary teams; ensure SHEQ compliance.
• Provide regular progress and financial reporting to stakeholders.

Job description

Responsible for end-to-end management of charging station projects. The role involves liaising with Hong Kong government departments including the Lands Department and Electrical and Mechanical Services Department to drive project approvals and compliance work. You will lead project feasibility studies, scheme design, installation, commissioning and maintenance services.

Key responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of charging station projects

Liaise with Hong Kong government departments (Lands Department, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department) to advance project approvals and compliance

Lead project feasibility studies, scheme design, installation, commissioning and maintenance services

Prepare tender documents and collaborate with procurement teams to complete the tendering process

Prepare project budgets, control costs and manage schedules to ensure timely and quality project delivery

Manage contractors and cross-disciplinary engineering teams, coordinate multi-party site operations

Report regularly on project progress and financial performance, monitor safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) systems

About you

Hong Kong permanent resident or above status

Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, building services engineering or related engineering discipline

8 years or more of relevant work experience; experience in charging station or electrical engineering project management is preferred

Experience with government engineering tendering processes and familiarity with Hong Kong Lands Department and Electrical and Mechanical Services Department approval procedures

Familiarity with electrical systems, charging facility construction and operations and maintenance

Excellent project management capability, leadership and communication and coordination skills

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English

Construction industry safety card is preferred
