Job summary

The Bank of East Asia invites applications for the Head of Credit Solution Management within the Wealth Management Division in Hong Kong. You will lead a team to maintain a high-quality wealth management loan portfolio and uphold strict credit risk standards.

You will oversee credit proposals, drive policy development, manage the LTV framework, and collaborate with Private Banking and Credit Risk Management to structure solutions and monitor risks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in credit management, with exposure to Private Banking or Wealth Management.
• Solid experience in credit review, portfolio monitoring, collateral management, and lending risk assessment.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing teams.
• Knowledge of credit policies, wealth management lending products.
• HKIB qualification or equivalent will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Credit Solution Management Team to maintain a high-quality wealth management loan portfolio.
• Oversee credit proposal assessments in line with credit policies and risk appetite.
• Drive development, implementation, and maintenance of wealth management credit policies, procedures, and operational manuals.
• Act as the policy owner of the Bank's Loan-to-Value (LTV) framework and oversee its implementation across the Bank.
• Partner closely with Private Banking, Credit Risk Management, and other stakeholders to structure credit solutions.
• Monitor the credit portfolio and market developments, identifying emerging risks and recommending appropriate risk mitigation measures.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members while fostering a strong risk-aware and customer-focused culture.
• Support strategic projects, business initiatives, and transformation programs across the Wealth Management Division.
