Job summary

Ming Hing Waterworks Engineering Co Ltd seeks a capable Site Agent or Sub Agent to oversee water main and waterworks projects, including trenchless works, ensuring timely and safe delivery. The role requires a civil engineering degree (MHKIE Civil preferred) and substantial post-qualification experience.

You will coordinate with clients, engineers, utility authorities, and subcontractors, manage site operations and contract administration, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in site supervision and coordination of civil works.
• Strong command of English and Cantonese for site communication.
• Experience with NEC contract administration is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise water main and waterworks projects to ensure timely, safe delivery.
• Oversee daily site operations, subcontractors, workforce, materials and plant resources.
• Coordinate with Client, Engineer, utility undertakers, government authorities and stakeholders.
• Prepare and review work programmes, method statements, risk assessments and emergency plans.
• Monitor progress, quality, safety and environmental performance; implement corrective actions.
• Assist in contract administration, site records, progress reporting and compliance with contract requirements.
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical and construction issues; ensure coordination among parties.
