Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Hong Kong seeks an Assistant Engineer, Water to deliver quality engineering design in water projects. You will perform calculations, drawings and specifications, supporting project and design management, and building strong client relationships.

You will take technical responsibility for design delivery, produce and review calculations, reports and specifications on projects, manage design teams and coordinate inputs from other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Environmental.
• Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience.
• Have design experience in at least one of the following: sewage, drainage, wastewater, water and/or utilities engineering.
• Have AutoCAD, BIM modelling and hydraulic skills will be an advantage.
• Excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical responsibility for engineering design delivery.
• Produce and review calculations, drawings, reports and specifications on projects.
• Project Management and Design Management of our consultancy services, delivering projects to time and to budget.
• Management and technical development of our capabilities and individual Engineers.
• Co-ordination, collaboration and management of other disciplines input into projects.
• Identify opportunities, lead and support business development and work winning / bidding activities.
• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key existing and prospective clients.
