DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead employee relations investigations, provide strategic counsel to senior leadership, and shape policy in a fast‑paced financial services environment.

You will partner with Legal, Compliance and Internal Audit to ensure fair, confidential processes, maintain high integrity, and translate data insights into proactive risk‑mitigation strategies; based at One Island East.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Legal or Human Resources, specializing in employee relations, labor law compliance, and workplace investigations within the financial services sector or a complex corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, regulatory frameworks, and best practices in dispute resolution.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, sensitive investigations with high integrity, confidentiality, and objectivity.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable employee relations strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct objective, thorough, and timely investigations into workplace grievances, misconduct, and policy violations.
  • Provide strategic counsel and guidance to senior leadership, HR business partners, and line managers on complex employee relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Develop, review, and implement progressive employee relations policies, guidelines, and programs in compliance with prevailing labor laws and regulatory standards.
  • Analyze employee relations trends and data to identify systemic issues, recommending proactive solutions and preventive measures to mitigate risk.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Compliance, and Internal Audit, to ensure consistent application of policies and fair resolution of cases and a fair, respectful, and inclusive work environment aligned with DBS values
