Job summary

HKEX is seeking a Vice President of Data Analytics within the Chief Data Office to design, deliver and adopt governed analytics capabilities on our Enterprise Data Platform. Reporting to the Head of Data Platform, the incumbent translates business priorities into a prioritized analytics roadmap and shapes how management dashboards and data products are implemented.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in data analytics, data platform delivery or technology leadership in a large enterprise.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale data or analytics programmes with measurable outcomes.
• Strong understanding of modern enterprise data architectures, including cloud-based and hybrid platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise data analytics strategy and roadmap, aligning with business priorities across key divisions to deliver measurable business value.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of data analytics initiatives, from demand intake and prioritization through to deployment, adoption and continuous improvement.
• Drive the design, build and evolution of scalable, secure and high-performing analytics capabilities on the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP).
• Establish and promote best practices for data modelling, data visualization and analytics solution design across the organization.
• Partner with Data Business Partners to translate objectives into actionable analytics use cases with clear outcomes and metrics.
• Champion the adoption of advanced analytics, AI and emerging technologies to enhance insight generation and decision-making capabilities.
• Strengthen data governance, data quality, data security and regulatory compliance requirements.
