Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Data Analytics within the Chief Data Office of IT to lead planning, coordination and delivery of data analytics projects, enabling the HKEX data strategy and Enterprise Data Platform.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in technology or engineering, 6+ years in data analytics or IT project delivery, hands-on data tech, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data analytics, IT development, or project management.
• Strong technical and leadership capabilities for cross-functional teams.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data analytics projects from inception to deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data platform capabilities by business value.
• Manage progress, risks, scope, schedule and cost with IT and business teams.
• Promote compliant data reuse across the enterprise platform.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support delivery.
• Drive cloud and open-source initiatives for data management and governance.
• Apply hybrid project management with Agile within SDLC.
• Coordinate with data engineering to ensure efficient tool usage.
