Job summary

China Telecom Global Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced voice network engineer to maintain and optimize the voice network, ensuring smooth operation of SBCs, firewalls, and UC products while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements include a bachelor degree or higher in a related field, at least 3 years’ hands-on telecom voice maintenance experience, strong English skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in computer or communications.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in voice system maintenance at a telecommunications carrier.
• Familiarity with the maintenance and operation of voice gateways (SBCs), firewalls, switches (Layer 2 & 3), A2P-SMS, anti-fraud systems, and UC products.
• Strong English language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Good sense of responsibility with strong communication and teamwork, and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the voice network; assist with field engineering tasks.
• Optimize voice network; provisioning and cooperating with other operators testing trunk circuits, upgrades, and major trouble shooting.
• Develop and implement voice maintenance specifications and procedures; lead network projects.
• Collaborate with internal departments to develop and optimize operations, improving support tools and productivity.
