The University of Hong Kong invites applications for a Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 537640), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A Ph.D.

in Biological/Biomedical Sciences is required, along with strong English and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Preference given to candidates with virus-host interaction experience.

Formación

• PhD in Biological/biomedical sciences or equivalent.
• Strong written and spoken English required.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; high motivation and sense of responsibility.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to research projects on molecular virology and immunology of emerging and re-emerging viruses.
• Carry out post-doctoral research in virus-host interactions, influenza viruses and animal models.
• Engage in activities that support project goals and collaborative work within the lab.
