Job summary

Main Responsibilities

The Alternative Credit and Securitized Products Groups (“ACSPG”) provide a wide range of financing solutions to Natixis’ clients in the Asia Pacific Middle East (“APME”) region. Those financing solutions encompass, notably, securitization warehousing facilities (ABS and RMBS) and fund financing.

On the fund financing front, Natixis has been an active and recognized player starting from the early 2000s in North America as a provider of subscription facilities. As a promoter of fund financing being a full-fledged asset class, Natixis’ has expanded its offering to embrace the full life cycle of private funds, and the whole fund financing ecosystem. Financing solutions provided by Natixis thus include hybrid and NAV facilities at the fund level but also Rated Notes Feeder (“RNF”), Collateralized Fund Obligations (“CFO”), and other innovative financing solutions to cater to the needs of institutional investors investing into private funds.

As a Vice President, you will be expected to focus primarily on fund financing transactions, while also having the opportunity to contribute to the securitization business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Origination, structuring and execution of financing transactions.
  • Leading the development of bespoke financial models, including NAV, hybrids, RNFs and CFOs, and for securitization warehouses, as needed.
  • Assisting with the drafting of term sheets, commercial presentations, leading drafting of internal approval memos.
  • Coordinating due diligence with external advisors, rating agencies processes.
  • Engaging with internal and external legal teams by reviewing and commenting on transaction documents.
  • Proactively monitoring existing transactions, including compliance with reporting requirements and satisfactory fulfilment of covenants.
  • Leading the drafting of annual reviews, waivers, amendments.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting of transactions in the team’s global reporting tool.
Required Experience
  • At a minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience on structuring credit transactions, ideally combining fund financing and securitization.
  • Proven track record of engagement on RNFs, CFOs or other similar innovative fund financing transactions will be requested.
  • Good understanding of rating agencies methodologies.
  • Having experienced engagement on execution of transactions, including due diligence and transaction documents negotiation.
  • Knowledge of securitization markets would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of private credit and back leverage, loan on loan financing would also be a plus.
  • Previous experience working in an international firm and coordinating with various teams across multiple countries is strongly preferred.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in another Asian language is welcome.
  • Excellent team spirit and ability to work within a small team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills as the transversality of the ACSPG business requires to cooperate and work smoothly with other business lines across multiple locations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while remaining detail-oriented and accountable.
  • Superior credit, financial analysis and financial modeling skills (including waterfalls).
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Holder of appropriate tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business or Engineering.
