Michael Page (Hong Kong) is seeking an Investment VP (Venture & Growth) to originate deals, lead capital formation, and manage LP communications for an Asia-focused USD fund.

The candidate should have a strong investment background across VC, private equity, growth equity, or related platforms, with proven ability to develop investment case funds and engage with institutional investors globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience engaging with institutional investors and sophisticated LPs globally.
• Solid understanding of venture capital fund structures, portfolio construction, valuation methodologies, and LP reporting requirements.

As an Venture & Growth VP, your main responsibilities will include:

• Originate deals, and lead capital formation initiatives for the case funds based on existing relationships.
• Prepare fundraising case studies, track records, attribution analysis, and portfolio reviews for prospective and existing LPs.
• Manage LP communications, quarterly reports, annual meetings, and ongoing investor engagement.
• Coordinate and respond to RFPs, due diligence requests, and investor inquiries throughout fundraising cycles.
• Represent the firm at investor meetings, conferences, and industry events.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Investment VP (Venture & Growth) should have:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Strong Investment experience is required, ideally gained from Venture Capital, Private Equity, Growth Equity, Investment Banking, or Institutional Investment platforms.
• Proven experience in independently developing investment case funds.
• Solid understanding of venture capital fund structures, portfolio construction, valuation methodologies, and LP reporting requirements.
• Experience engaging with institutional investors and sophisticated LPs globally.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin is an advantage.
