Job summary

ByteDance seeks a User Operations professional in Hong Kong to drive lifecycle strategies for onboarding, retention and monetization across global audiences.

You will organize online events, analyze user behavior, and work with global teams to boost user spending and retention in live streaming or overseas social networking products. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience are required, with strong English and data-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• 3+ years of experience in user or product operations.
• Lifecycle user operations: Developing differentiated strategies across the entire user lifecycle—focusing on new user acquisition, retention and activation, monetization (for high-value users), and understanding user perceptions (regarding churned users)—with the aim of boosting user spending and retention.
• Efficiently organize online events to drive significant, scalable growth in user monetization depth.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach and logical thinking.
• Proficiency in English as a working language is required to partner with global teams and regional partners.
• Hands‑on experience in event operations for live streaming or overseas social networking products.
• Strong user insight and the ability to accurately grasp user psychology and analyze deep‑seated needs.
