Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Fund Accountant to join our client in Hong Kong. The role centers on accurate USD fund accounting, NAV calculations, and timely client reporting. You will ensure compliance with accounting standards and collaborate with auditors as needed.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Accounting or Finance, have at least 3 years of USD fund accounting experience, and communicate well in English, with Mandarin preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum USD fund accounting experience.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency with accounting software and reporting tools.
• Good communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements for assigned USD funds.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Manage daily fund operations, including reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
• Prepare periodic reports for stakeholders and regulators.
• Assist in NAV calculations for investment funds.
• Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and address audit queries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and reporting.

• Managing daily fund operations, including reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
• Preparing periodic reports for stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
• Assisting in the calculation of net asset values (NAVs) for investment funds.
• Coordinating with auditors for annual audits and addressing audit queries.
• Collaborating with internal teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
• Providing support for ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Fund Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• 3 years of minimum USD Fund Accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and fund administration processes.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Good communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
