Job summary

TPP (HK) Management Limited is seeking a (Senior) Fund Accountant in Hong Kong to own day-to-day accounting and fund operations. You will work with finance and operations teams to drive process improvements and team development.

The role requires a solid foundation in fund accounting, 3–7 years’ experience in accounting/finance (preferably in asset management), and fluency in Mandarin and English. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/ACCA is a plus.
• 3–7 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, preferably Asset Management or Fund Administration.
• Solid foundation in fund accounting; VC/PE fund operations is a strong advantage.
• Detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
• Self-motivated and responsible, with ownership; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Independently maintain corporate accounting records and in-house system, including month-end closings and management reporting.
• Support and progressively take ownership of core fund operations, including capital calls, distributions, quarterly reporting, and tax filings.
• Handle cash reconciliations and process expense payments with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of investment-related documents, company secretarial records, and service agreements.
• Maintain and update non-financial records, such as LP database and portfolio company lists; identify and suggest improvements to record-keeping processes.
• Track and organize documentation, ensuring timely updates to internal records.
• Liaise with external service providers including fund administrators, auditors, legal, compliance, and company secretaries.
• Support year-end fund audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Actively participate in ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives; contribute ideas and assist in implementation.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy in day-to-day workflows.
• Regularly review and summarize work practices; share learnings and insights with the team.

About you

Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus

3-7 years of experience in Accounting / Finance, preferably within Asset Management or Fund Administration

Solid foundation in fund accounting; experience in VC/PE fund operations is a strong advantage

Detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong willingness to learn and grow

Self-motivated and responsible, with a high degree of ownership; able to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently

Able to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Strong analytical thinking; able to identify issues, propose solutions, and communicate findings clearly

Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken
