Job summary

8 ½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to assist the General Manager and Operations Manager in daily operations. You will ensure top quality service, food presentation and cleanliness, handling guest feedback and driving improvements to meet financial goals.

Requirements include 8+ years in upscale dining, preferably Michelin-starred, strong English communication, and proven people management and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' working experience in Upscale Dining restaurant at similar capacity, Michelin-starred restaurant experience preferred.
• Superior oral communications in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Strong managerial abilities in people management, strategic planning and decision making.
• Willing to learn and able to work under pressure.
• Service oriented, creative, energetic and well groomed.

Responsibilities

• To assist General Manager and Operation Manager in daily operations to ensure a smooth-running and efficient operation at all times
• Ensure high quality services, food presentation and cleanliness are up to guest satisfaction;
• Handle and take appropriate action concerning any guest complaints and comments;
• Constantly analysis the business situation and seek ways to improve performance in meeting financial goals;
• Control inventory stock of the restaurant
• Provide regular job and service training to employees
• Liaise closely with the kitchen team on food quality or presentation
