Job summary

China Construction Bank (Asia) in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Treasury Trader to provide comprehensive solutions to targeted clients, including timely market indication, execution, and trading strategies. The role involves expanding treasury products, ensuring regulatory compliance, and preparing analyses for management.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor degree, 3+ years of active FX/Forward/IRS/CCS trade experience, HKMA/SFC Type 1 and 4 licenses, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in active FX/ Forward/ IRS/ CCS/ fixed income trade execution/dealing.
• Licensed with HKMA/SFC for Type 1 and 4 activities required.
• Qualification for Enhanced Competency Framework on Treasury Management is preferable.
• Thorough knowledge of HKMA requirements and risk management.
• Proficient in MS Office/ Excel/ Word/PowerPoint and Bloomberg or Reuters.

• Demonstrate business acumen on financial markets and regulatory requirements; prepare research reports and business analysis for decision-making.
• Assist senior team members to maintain good relationships with different customer units and back/middle office to expand client base and meet profit budgets.
• Take up other ad-hoc works as required.

Job description

• Provide comprehensive solutions to targeted clients, including timely market indication, execution, and trading strategies. Engage in daily maintenance work such as clientele relationship management, P&L reconciliation, monitor fund settlement etc.
• Expand treasury products to meet the needs of targeted customers with specific business plan and Policy & Procedure, be able to solve problems during the launch of new products. Ensure adherence to Head Office and local regulatory requirements as well as the Bank's relevant Audit, Credit, Compliance, and Risk policies.
• Demonstrate business acumen on financial market and relevant regulatory requirements. Prepare research report and business analysis for the decision-making of supervisor and management.
• Assist senior team members to manage good relationships with different customer units and middle and back office of the Bank to expand customer base, which can help to meet profit budget goals. Optimize product flow and process as necessary.
• Take up other ad-hoc works as required.

Requirements
