Job summary

Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking in Hong Kong seeks a candidate to work on primary and secondary loan syndications across North Asia, including acquisition, LBO, project and aircraft financing.

You will assist in preparing marketing materials, support bookrunning and distribution, draft syndication opinions, conduct market research, and maintain deal databases while providing APAC market updates. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance-related field.
• Interest or experience in banking industry.
• Strong analytical and risk analysis skills under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage primary and secondary loan syndications and execution in North Asia.
• Prepare syndication marketing materials (invite letters, term sheets, presentations, info memorandums).
• Support bookrunning and distribution processes and respond to investor questions and KYCs.
• Assist in drafting syndication opinions, liquidity analysis, closing memos.
• Draft secondary trade documents and loan settlements.
• Conduct market research and comparable transactions analysis.
• Maintain loan capital market deal databases and provide APAC market updates.
• Manage internal reporting and other admin tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

• Primary and secondary loan syndications and execution across various Investment Banking and Structured Finance products including corporate acquisition, LBO, project and aircraft financing with primary focus on North Asia region
• Assist in preparation of syndication marketing materials such as invite letters, syndication term sheets, bank presentations, information memorandums
• Support the bookrunning process for loan transactions and distribution activities such as investors’ questions, required followed-ups and KYCs
• Assist in drafting of syndication opinions including liquidity analysis and closing memos
• Assist the drafting of secondary trade-related documents / loan trade settlements
• Conduct market research / comparable transactions analysis for deal assessment
• Maintain loan capital market deal intel databases and provide updates / newsletters on the APAC loan market outlook
• Manage internal reporting requirements (weekly update on deal pipeline, underwriting / selldown reports) and other admin matters

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree holder in finance-related discipline preferred with genuine interest / experience working in banking industry
• Strong analytical, quantitative and risk analysis skills with ability to multitask with confidence under time pressure
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills
• General knowledge of IBD / Structured Finance products including syndicated loans / debt capital markets / other financing products
