Job summary

Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking in Hong Kong seeks a diligent analyst to support business and credit analysis, client onboarding, and day-to-day banking activities. You will produce financial memos, perform credit analysis, monitor limits and coordinate with risk and front-office; English is mandatory with Mandarin as a plus; strong MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bizcom documentation (financial analysis, business memo).
• Perform fundamental credit analysis to propose ratings and support exposure requests.
• Prepare credit reviews for presentation to the credit committee co-chaired by CEO and head of risk.
• Monitor credit counterparty setup and review diversified portfolio; ensure limits are followed (covenants).
• Communicate with credit risk department to anticipate issues.
• Onboard clients: vetting tasks, data entry in internal systems, document retrieval and file storage.

Main Responsibilities:

Business & Credit Analysis

• Bizcom documentation (financial analysis, business memo..)
• Perform fundamental credit analysis in order to propose a credit rating and support the exposure request
• Prepare credit review for presentation to the credit committee co-chaired by CEO and head of risk
• Monitor credit counterparty set up/ review of a diversified portfolio
• Ensure the limits approved are properly follow (covenant)
• Communicate with credit risk department to better anticipate risk issues
• Credit counterparty review monitoring

Client On-boarding

• Centralized production of vetting tasks done at the front office level (bankers, relationship manager, and senior banker), reverse on-boarding with clients and management of the overall on-boarding process throughout the platform;
• Fill in information in our internal system
• Retrieve documentation (website or from the client)
• Follow list sent by coordination team
• Send documents to local operation team for storage
• Report weekly status to coordination team.

Required Skills:

• English are mandatory, Mandarin is a plus
• Well structured, organized and systematic
• Solid analytical skills (auditor background is preferred)
