Job summary

HKEX, Asia’s dynamic capital markets hub, invites a systems analyst to join the Exchange Square team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on change impact analysis, documenting requirements, and validating system readiness across trading platforms.

You will work with IT and business users, translate technical language into business terms in English and Chinese, and help ensure successful project implementations in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

3+ years of system development or client support experience in trading platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive impact analysis on functional and operational change. Prepare necessary documentation to engage relevant stakeholders in the overall change management process.
Analyze the technical and operational system requirements, create & review necessary documentations including but not limited to test plan, test condition, test case for the overall system acceptance.
Execute and verify the results of all testing cycles under tight schedule.
Participate into the investigation process for all issues identified.
Partner closely with cross-functional testing teams to verify the end-to-end system operational and technical readiness. Assist in the investigation and resolve any conflicts identified.
Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including IT teams and users, to achieve project and operation success.
Undertake assignments and projects as delegated by the supervisor.
