Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is seeking a contract professional to support daily operations and projects within the Cash Trading business. You will collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to market structure optimization through feasibility studies.

Role requires a university degree in finance/economics, 1+ year of relevant experience, and strong English/Chinese communication. Knowledge of HK cash market and Stock Connect is a plus; on-site role at Exchange Square.

Qualifications

University degree in finance, economics or related business field.
At least 1 year of relevant work experience; banking/financial industry preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
Strong technical understanding of the Hong Kong cash market; Stock Connect experience an advantage.

Responsibilities

Assist in executing HKEX strategic projects including market structure and Stock Connect initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of cash trading initiatives, requirements, and testing.
Participate in market and policy research related to market development for strategic projects.
Prepare write-ups, management papers, reports and presentations in English and Chinese.
Perform other duties as delegated by management.
