Job summary

IMC, a leading trading firm, seeks a Trading Operations Analyst to support APAC Middle Office for systematic equities and ETF desks. You will manage corporate actions lifecycle, provide traders with position clarity, and coordinate with prime brokers to ensure smooth trading operations.

The role requires 2–4 years in middle office or related roles, a finance-related degree, and strong detail orientation under pressure.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in Middle Office, Trade Support or Product Control.
• Tertiary education in Finance, Economics, Commerce or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks across different markets.
• Collaborative team player with proactive communication.
• Experience with Python, SQL, VBA and Claude Code preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

Job description

We're looking for a motivated individual to join our APAC Middle Office team as a Trading Operations Analyst, supporting our systematic equities and ETF desks across APAC markets. This is a fast-paced, high-ownership role where you'll play a critical part in ensuring our traders can operate safely and efficiently throughout the trading day.

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Tracking and managing the full lifecycle of corporate actions (stock splits, bonus shares, changed tickers, acquisitions, spinoffs, bankruptcies, divests, fund mergers) and the associated position changes
• Providing traders with a clear view of tradeable positions and outstanding issues before safe market entry
• Working with prime brokers and clearers to correct reports, co-ordinating across multiple counterparties simultaneously
• Reconciling P&L and cash breaks, including swap-related and corporate action-driven breaks
• Contributing to ETF P&L analysis and refinement, including multi-currency complexity
• Participating in the design and build of internal tooling to improve visibility of issues

Your Skills and Experience:

• 2-4 years’ experience in a Middle Office, Trade Support or Product Control role
• Tertiary education in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working under time pressure
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously across different markets
• A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and proactively
• Experience with Python, SQL, VBA and Claude Code is preferred but not essential
