Job summary

Abbott in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Trade Account Manager to lead and grow our Trade channel. You will build strong partnerships with Community Pharmacy and collaborate with Marketing to launch trade promotional programs and monitor the top 50 accounts for sales performance.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of retail sales experience in OTC/Rx with customers in Community Pharmacy, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and fluency in Cantonese and English.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of retail sales experience in OTC/Rx with Community Pharmacy customers.
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
• Solid analytical skills for ROI, forecasting and planning.
• Knowledge of Hong Kong Traditional and Modern Trade markets.
• Proficiency in Cantonese and English.

Responsibilities

• Build enduring relationships with Community Pharmacy.
• Understand needs and opportunities, document insights, and inform Abbott divisions.
• Contribute to commercial strategy with the Community Pharmacy and plan retail promotions.
• Develop engagement plans and retail plans to create value for both parties.
• Identify new opportunities, monitor environment, and target accounts.
• Resolve claims and issues raised by Community Pharmacy.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply and Finance to align on accounts.
