Chung Ying Theatre Company (HK) Limited invites applications for an Education and Outreach Officer to oversee related programmes, manage contracts and budgets, and coordinate with teams for workshops and productions.

The role requires a degree in any discipline, a year of administrative experience in arts education, and a passion for theatre. Weekend work is expected, with fringe benefits and insurance provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree in any discipline (arts admin, drama education, cultural studies or related fields preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of solid administrative experience in education or arts preferred.
• Strong passion for theatre/drama and working with people.
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee education and outreach programmes including preparing contracts and budgets.
• Schedule workshops, rehearsals and performances and monitor progress and evaluation.
• Liaise with internal staff and external partners on outreach projects.
• Assist in preparation, execution and follow-up of workshops, rehearsals and productions.
• Visit workshops and productions to monitor progress and quality.
• Communicate with participants and partners regarding inquiries and feedback.
• Propose content on social media for promotion of education and outreach projects.
• Coordinate with marketing, ticketing and front-of-house teams on related projects.
• Undertake research on drama use in the community and develop suitable projects.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by supervisor.
