Job summary

Delken Group Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a bright and energetic candidate for the position of Temporary Co-ordinator (Economic Research) in Central. You will maintain and update the in-house macro-economic, financial and monetary database, assist in regular statistical publications, review data for accuracy, and provide administrative and research support.

Requirements include five HKCEE/HKDSE subjects with English and Chinese, strong Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills, good English and Chinese,

Qualifications

• Five subjects including Chinese Language and English Language at Level 2/Grade E or above (HKCEE) or equivalent (HKDSE).
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word-processing.
• Good command of English and Chinese; Putonghua is a definite advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities:

• To maintain and update our in-house macro-economic, financial and monetary database
• To assist in regular statistical publications and handle ad hoc data requests
• To review and verify the accuracy of data and make changes where necessary
• To provide administrative, clerical and research support as assigned

Requirements:

• Five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language (“Syllabus B” before 2007), at Level 2 / Grade E or above in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or at Level 2 or equivalent or above in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination
• Well versed in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word-processing
• Good command of English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua a definite advantage
• Good team player, detail-minded and self-motivated
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• One year’s relevant working experience preferred
