HKU School of Professional & Continuing Education (HKU SPACE) seeks a Temporary Research Assistant II for the QEF project in Oriental Studies. The appointee will assist the Programme Director with project coordination, data collection, analysis, and development of curriculum materials.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree; familiarity with MS Office and quantitative research methods; and good Chinese and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Preference given to early childhood teaching and teacher training experience.
• Good communication in Chinese and English; strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Familiar with MS Office and quantitative research methods.
• Ability to work independently and with a project team.
• Experience in research on Chinese language teaching is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and administer the QEF project in Oriental Studies.
• Assist in data collection and analysis for the project.
• Develop curriculum materials for the project.
• Support research activities, prepare reports and academic papers.
• Assist in organizing seminars and events for the project.
• Manage project content on social media to enhance public engagement.
