Job summary

CATUG International (Hong Kong) Limited seeks a scientifically adept Technical Support Specialist/Manager to join our R&D team. You will be embedded within R&D, translating client challenges into clear directions for scientists to enhance nucleic acid, LNP, and protein-based modalities.

You will work to design and optimize experiments, interpret client data, and help troubleshoot during project execution, while communicating effectively in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field, with a minimum of 1+ years' experience.
• Alternatively, a Doctoral degree (PhD) in the above fields, which also requires a minimum of 1+ years' experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret client scientific data to define technical problems and R&D objectives.
• Translate project goals and client requirements into actionable experimental plans, technical protocols, and development strategies for the R&D team.
• Collaborate directly with R&D scientists in designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting experiments and development processes.
• Provide scientific expertise to help troubleshoot technical challenges encountered during project execution.
