This position provides technical and contractual quality assurance for an investment banking client's corporate offices and Colocation Data Center (COLO DC) in Hong Kong.
The role encompasses oversight of all technical operations, ensuring compliance with country, regional, and global technical standards. Responsibilities include leading improvement initiatives, managing on-site technicians, operations staff, and vendor partners, while serving as the technical subject matter expert for complex challenges.
The role also supports the regional engineering team in managing the Hong Kong Colocation Data Center, focusing on master services agreement compliance and ongoing technical compliance monitoring.

Client/Stakeholder Management
- Meet and exceed all client contract requirements and Key Performance Indicators

- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors to create outstanding customer experiences
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of services
- Support the Technical Services Lead in managing client relationships
Leadership / Staff Management/ Team Participation
- Provide coaching and mentoring to engineers and team members
- Guide staff in developing personal development plans and conduct regular performance reviews
- Encourage knowledge sharing of best practices and innovative ideas within the Workplace Experience Team
Operations & Contract Management
- Manage, review, and execute all engineering and technical service contracts, including quality assurance and inspections
- Develop and implement building procedures (MOP/SOP/EOP) and performance measures to ensure work accuracy and system reliability
- Implement innovative programs to reduce utility costs, increase productivity, and generate cost savings
- Establish and maintain best-in-class maintenance standards and practices across building operations
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize risk of critical equipment failures
- Contribute to monthly management reports and conduct data analysis as needed
- Assist in preparing strategic plans, budgets, and client reports, including financial reconciliation for service contracts
- Coordinate, manage, and oversee vendors delivering workplace-related services
- Ensure service deliverables meet established SLAs and KPIs
Safety, Compliance & Risk Management
- Implement and manage risk and safety work practices to prevent service interruptions
- Maintain all safety procedures, including Crisis Management, Business Continuity, and Emergency Response protocols
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health, and safety standards
- Prepare comprehensive risk assessments for service delivery
- Conduct regular process audits to verify adherence to established procedures
- Respond to critical out-of-hours issues and serve as a key team member during emergency situations, site attendance if required
Location & Mobility
- Based on-site at client offices with mobility required to cover multiple locations as needed
Required Skills and Experience:
- University degree or equivalent professional qualification in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Facilities Management
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in Engineering, Data Center Operations, and Management
- Background in managing complex building systems and critical infrastructure
- REW B0 certification is advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across diverse teams and key stakeholders
