Job summary

APJ Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to drive architecture and development of Harmony OS applications with strong Android expertise. You will mentor the team, enforce coding standards, and engage directly with HK/US stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in mobile app leadership, hands-on Android, and experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms, and cross‑platform frameworks such as Flutter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, Software Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years as Tech Lead/Senior in mobile app projects.
• Strong hands-on Android development.
• Experience with API integration, backend services and cloud platforms.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices and Azure cloud.
• Exposure to HarmonyOS or Flutter/React Native preferable.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of Harmony OS applications, ensuring high performance and maintainability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, promoting best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering standards across performance, security, and quality.
• Engage with clients including HK and US-based stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Proactively manage risks and ensure on-time delivery of projects.
