Job summary

IMC Trading is expanding its presence in Chinese markets and seeks a Corporate Development Manager based in Sydney or Hong Kong to be IMC’s external face with exchanges, brokers and tech providers. You will gather requirements from technical, legal and ops teams and steer them to clear, actionable outcomes.

You will collaborate with trading, infra and legal groups to secure reliable market access and robust infrastructure, driving multi-stakeholder conversations across complex environments.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English and Mandarin is a must.
• 5+ years of experience in a financial institution, broker or exchange with exposure to trading technology or a tech provider to trading firms.
• Strong understanding of technology and physical infrastructure used by global trading firms.
• Based in Sydney or Hong Kong; travel to Sydney regularly if HK-based.
• Able to build trusted relationships with exchanges, brokers and vendors at all levels.
• Self-motivated, commercially minded and capable of autonomous work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as IMC’s single point of contact for day-to-day interactions with Chinese exchanges, brokers and technology providers.
• Collect and triage requirements from internal technical, legal and operations teams, then translate into external conversations.
• Represent IMC externally and drive requests through to closure, e.g. market data lines and rack space negotiations.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with counterparts across Chinese exchanges and vendors.
• Identify opportunities to improve IMC’s infrastructure and network setup in collaboration with trading and infrastructure teams.
